RAGGED EDGE F-RE
Our Ragged Edge technique is sure to add some fluttering
flair to your next project or quilt! Ragged Edge is a finishing
technique that has been specially digitized to have a basting
stitch immediately following the tack down of an appliqué.
The basting stitch outline is used as a guide to help trim
away the excess appliqué material, giving it a uniform raw
edge. Once this stitch is removed, the raw edges will get
snipped 1⁄8”-1⁄4” apart, creating a free and fluttering edge
around your appliqué. This technique works wonderfully
with materials that are less prone to fraying, such as felt!
