Run the specialty zig-zag tacking stitch for the printed fabric,
followed by any standard embroidery steps, STOPPING
once you have ran the first placement stitch for a folded
fabric border.
Take a strip of fabric and place it right side facing down,
overlapping the placement stitch by 1⁄4”, as shown above.
Proceed to run the folding stitch for the fabric strip. Once the
folding stitch is complete, bring the fabric up over the line,
pulling taut, and give the fold a good finger crease. Use tape
to secure the fold in place.
Run your next machine step, which will be the tacking stitch
to secure the folded fabric.
