STUFFED F-S
Stuffed projects are ones that are sure to involve a little
extra fluff! In order to make these dimensional designs, you’ll
first run the standard appliqué and embroidery for your
design. Stuffed designs generally include a ribbon step,
allowing you to add a piece of looped ribbon into the top
of the design to hang your finished plush piece. The design
will get finished off with a back fabric, then stuffed with
Poly-Fil once removed from the hoop and turned right side
out. A quick hand sew shut for the remaining gap and you’ll
have a new plush piece in no time. Whether you use stuffed
collections as keychains, pin cushions, or even ornaments,
this technique is sure to “pad” your embroidery repertoire in
all the right ways!
