STITCHING STANDARD EMBROIDERY
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
To begin, hoop a piece of No-Show mesh stabilizer. Run the first machine step. This will be the squaring stitch to
indicate the finished size of your block, as well as where you
will lay your batting.
Place your batting over your squaring stitches, being sure to
cover them on all sides.
With a sharp pair of curved tip embroidery scissors, trim
away any excess batting from the tacking stitches.
Run the next machine step, which will be the tacking stitch to
secure the batting to the stabilizer.
Once trimmed, your block should look something like this.
