CREATING RAGGED EDGE APPLIQUÉ
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
To begin, hoop a piece of No-Show mesh stabilizer. Your first machine step is going to be the squaring stitch for
your batting.
Place your batting over top of the squaring stitch, being sure
that all sides are covered.
With a pair of curved tip embroidery scissors, trim away any
excess batting you may have from around the tacking stitch.
Run your next machine step, which will be the tacking stitch
for your batting.
Once trimmed, your block should look something like this.
