The next machine step will be the folding stitch. Now, fold the fabric back over the folding stitch line taut,
and press the fold with your finger. You can use a piece of
embroidery tape along the edge to help secure it in place
until the tacking stitch is complete.
Run your next machine step, which will be the tacking stitch
to secure your folded fabric to the design.
Use curved tip embroidery scissors to trim away any excess
material from the tacking stitch.
