Now, place your base fabric over the batting block with the
right side facing up. Be sure that all sides of the block are
covered, as well as having at least a 1⁄2” seam allowance
extending on all four sides.
Now, switch threads to a color that will match your base
fabric, then proceed to run the tacking stitch to secure the
base fabric in place.
Follow along with your design’s numbered machine steps to
run the remaining standard embroidery.
Your Standard Embroidery block is now finished!
Once your design has finished stitching, remove it from
hoop. Using a ruler and rotary cutter, trim away any excess
stabilizer and fabric. NOTE: Be sure to keep a 1⁄2” of excess
fabric to act as your seam allowance!
