stitch on all sides.

The next step will be a placement stitch for the first landscape
appliqué fabric strip.
Place a piece of batting over top of the squaring stitches,
making sure to cover them completely.
To begin, hoop a piece of No-Show Mesh stabilizer. Run the
first step of the design, which is the squaring stitch for the
batting.
Trim away the excess batting tightly from outside the squaring
stitch.
Run the next machine step, which is a tacking stitch for the
batting.

Be sure to leave at least 1⁄2” of fabric as a seam
allowance on all appliqués extending past the
squaring stitch.
