Place the folded fabric, right-side facing down, covering the
placement stitch by approximately 1⁄4”.

Depending on the fabric, a finger press may
not be enough to settle the fabric. Use tape or
spray adhesive, if necessary, to secure.

TIP
Keep in mind when trimming that you will need
to leave 1/2” of fabric outside the initial squaring
stitch for your seam allowance.
