FREE MOTION - ANATOMY OF THE DESIGN
Free Motion blocks include one decorative step, in a single thread color, to create the design. This stitch can be a running
stitch or a bean stitch, designed to mimic traditional long-arm quilting stitches. The design embroidery begins on one edge
of the block, and will finish on the opposite edge in a mirrored position. This is done to allow the stitch to seemingly run from
one block to the next in a continuous line.
Notes:
The mirrored start and stop points in each
free motion design allow you to join multiple
free motion blocks to look continuous. These
start and stop points can be either at the left
and right of the block or at the top and bottom
depending on which design you choose.
