You are now ready to sew the rows together. First, place 2 Repeat steps B through E to join the remaining rows together.
adjacent rows on top of each other, design sides together, lining
up the squaring stitches. Pin in place.
Using a walking foot, carefully stitch in the ditch (the crease
where two blocks meet on the quilt top) through all of the layers.
We suggest using either a matching thread or clear
monofilament thread when stitching in the ditch. NOTIONS
TIP
Using safety pins, carefully pin both layers together inside the
quilt blocks. We recommend 2-4 pins inside each block. You do
not want your fabric to shift while you quilt your layers together.
Next, cut your back fabric at least 3” bigger than the quilt top all
the way around. Lay down your back fabric face down, then lay
your quilt on top and facing up, so that wrong sides are together.
Once all your rows have been sewn together, your quilt top will
look like this.
