Continue with any additional decorative and finishing
embroidery steps for your design until there is a placement
stitch for the first folded fabric frame piece.

Tightly trim away the excess appliqué fabric from the outside
of the tacking stitch.
Following the numbered steps for your design, continue
to run any decorative embroidery steps until there is a
placement stitch for an appliqué.
The next step is a tacking stitch for the base fabric. Once the
fabric is tacked down, trim away any excess fabric.
Place a piece of appliqué fabric right side up, making sure to Run the next step, which is a tacking stitch for the appliqué.
