Notes:
ROTARY CUTTER
GOOD EMBROIDERY SCISSORS
TOOLS OF THE TRADE
Best utilized for cutting down fabrics to the correct size for
quilt blocks, appliqués, ribbon, and seam allowance. To keep
the cut clean and precise, be sure to regularly inspect the
blade’s tightness and swap it out when it becomes dull.
Perfect for trimming those pesky stray threads and trimming
tight with appliqués. Our staff prefers a sharp pair of double
curved embroidery scissors for the best appliqué trims, but
any pair with a tapered end will do the trick.
SEAM RIPPER
EMBROIDERY TAPE
Everybody makes mistakes! A good seam ripper will come
in handy for all those “oopsie” moments, as well as assisting
in basting stitch removals. Just be careful not to rip too hard!
Ideal for holding folds before tacking, preventing fabric shifts,
and securing card stock or other in-the-hoop projects. There are
multiple brands on the market so ask your dealer for their favorite.
