3 D G I F T TAGS | 1 3 0 | BABY LO C K CU R R I CULUM
The beauty of these gift tags is how
different each one looks! Find the
perfect gift tag for that special present
(or person!) and stitch it out for a
more personal touch. Feeling up to a
fun challenge? Find wrapping paper
or a bag that has colors you like, then
select your fabrics for the tags to
coordinate with the wrapping!
Another great idea is experimenting
with different types of fabric. Use a
mix of cottons, home décor fabrics, or
even organza for a tag that will really
stand out.
Once you have your fabric chosen,
you will need a variety of colors
depending which design you choose.
Begin by finding a color to coordinate
with your base fabric choice for the
satin stitched edges. Then select
colors based on your design image,
such as animals or scenery.
Don’t be scared to incorporate
vibrant or bold colors for more
pop. You can even try throwing in a
metallic thread choice to your design
for some added flair!
Since these 3D gift tags are entirely
free standing, they will be stitched on
a tear away stabilizer. This means you
won't need all the notions we would
normally recommend for projects.
Keep a pair of sharp appliqué scissors
on hand for trimming all of your
appliqué fabrics. These tags also
feature a back fabric step to cover the
bobbin stitches, so you will want to
wind a coordinating bobbin to go with
your chosen design that will join the
front and back of the design.
