Stitching Y our Merged Radial Design
Step-by-Step instructions
A B
After merging the two designs in your machine, you are
ready to stitch the block. Start by hooping a piece of No
Show mesh stabilizer. Run the first machine step, which
will be the squaring stitch for your batting.
Place a piece of batting over the squaring stitches, covering
them completely on all sides.
C D
Run the tacking stitch for the batting, then use a pair of
scissors to trim away the excess batting from the tacking
stitches.
Once trimmed, run the first placement stitch for your first
folded fabric piece, which we will call our Cornerstone.
E F
Place your Cornerstone fabric, right side down, covering
the right side of the placement stitch by approximately 1/4”.
TIP: Be sure to do the 1/4” overlap, as this will be needed
in the following steps.
Run the next step, which is a folding stitch for your first
fabric.
