Free Standing Appliqué
Created just like standard appliqué designs, these leaves
flaunt detailed shading and stitch work to give the
appliqué dimension. You’ll need a piece of Tear Away
stabilizer to get started on these. Select some warm
and natural fabric colors and textures to convey that fall
feeling, then accent them with similarly hued threads.
Your finished leaf will make it feel like fall is in the air!
Free Standing LACE
All you will need for these pretty leaves is two pieces
of wash away stabilizer, a fun fall thread color, and a
coordinating bobbin. Since each lace leaf is done in a
single thread color and step, you can make a full fall
palette of free standing foliage. You can then use these
leaves by themselves, stitched together for a statement
piece, or even added to garments or decor!
