To begin, hoop a piece of No Show mesh stabilizer. Run the first step of the design, which will be a squaring
stitch for your batting.
Place a piece of batting over the squaring stitches, being
sure to cover all sides.
The next step in the design will be the tacking stitch for the
batting.
Using a pair of scissors, trim away any excess batting from
the tacking stitches. This will prevent any unnecessary
bulk in our seam allowances.
Once trimmed, your block should look like this.
