Now run the folding stitch for your border fabric. Pull the border fabric taut over the folding stitch. Give the
fold a good finger crease, then continue to run the tack
down stitch in a matching thread.
Repeat steps Q through T for the opposite side’s border.
Then, before continuing, use your scissors to trim the
excess tabs of fabric from all four corners on the first two
borders (see circled).
The bottom right corner is trimmed for reference.
Repeat steps Q through T again for the remaining top and
bottom borders, skipping the trimming for these. With all
borders attached, continue to run the remaining steps in
your merged design to stitch out your chosen embroidery
design.
When the block has finished, you can remove it from
your embroidery hoop. Use a rotary cutter and ruler to
trim away any excess fabric and stabilizer to a 1/2” seam
allowance.
Your Printed Fabric Garden block is now finished!
