Next, place a piece of base fabric over the batting, being
sure to leave enough fabric outside the block for at least a
1/2” seam allowance.

The third step in the design will tack your base fabric in
place (shown in white).
NOTE: It is best to use a matching thread to prevent any
visible stitch lines when joining blocks together.
Run the final step in the design, which will be the free
motion pattern you chose.
TIP: These designs are single ply stitches, so it can help
to choose a contrasting thread against a plain base
fabric for the results.

embroidery hoop.
