To begin, hoop a piece of No Show mesh and run the
squaring stitch.
Take a piece of batting and place it over the squaring
stitch. Make sure that the batting completely covers the
squaring stitch on all sides.
The next machine step is the tacking stitch, which will
secure your batting to the stabilizer.
Once the batting is tacked down, use scissors to trim away
the excess batting up to the tacking stitch.
Now, run the placement stitch for the cornerstone fabric. Place the cornerstone fabric, right side up, over top of
the placement stitch, ensuring there is at least 1/2” seam
allowance for all fabric extending outside of the block.
