The next step is the tacking stitch for the vinyl appliqué.
Once tacked down, use scissors to trim the excess vinyl
from around the tacking stitch, leaving a scant 1/8” of vinyl
by the stitches to prevent it from pulling out.
Next, run the placement stitches for the next appliqué.
Flip to the back side of the hoop and use scissors to
remove the stabilizer from within the vinyl appliqué.
IMPORTANT: Leave the stabilizer behind any appliqué
placement stitches within the vinyl window for the next
step.
Flip to the front of your hoop and place the appliqué fabric,
right side up, over the placement stitches within in the
vinyl window.
Run the tacking stitch to secure the appliqué in place. Use embroidery scissors to trim away the excess fabric up
to the tacking stitch.
