Before returning to the machine, flip your hoop back over
and do the same with the front fabric piece. Be sure
it is laid right side down, with the fabric hanging towards
the top of the design. The raw edge should be lined up
with the BOTTOM edge of the zipper. Use tape to secure.
Run the next step, which will be a folding stitch. This stitch
line will be for both the top fabric and lining fabric on the
back of the hoop.
We will now go ahead and flip the main fabric down (on
front of hoop) and give it a finger crease. Secure with tape.
DO NOT flip the lining fabric on the back just yet. We will flip
that fabric (on the back of the hoop) later in the design.
The machine will now tack the main fabric in place as well
as a decorative bean stitch along the trim
of the zipper.
Allow the machine to run the embroidery details. Follow
your design’s numbered steps for step color changes in
the design.
Once the embroidery details have been added, take the
hoop out of the machine and flip it to the back and remove
the tape holding the lining fabric in place.
