Step-by-Step
instructions
A B
To begin your Traditional Quilt Block, start by hooping a
piece of No Show mesh stabilizer. Then, run the first step in
the design, which will be a squaring stitch for the batting.
Place a piece of batting over the squaring stitches, being
sure to cover them on all sides.
C D
Run the tacking stitch for the batting. Using a pair of scissors, trim away the excess batting from
the tacking stitch.
E F
Run the third step in your design, which will be a
placement stitch for your Cornerstone fabric.
REMEMBER: The Cornerstone piece is laid as a standard
appliqué. The Cornerstone for each block will be
indicated with a star on the Design pages.
Place a piece of fabric, right side up, over the placement
stitches. Be sure to cover them on all sides and leave
enough fabric for a 1/2” seam allowance outside of the block.
