Take the fabric and pull taut over the folding stitch. Be sure
the fabric will cover the placement stitch completely.
TIP: You can utilize spray adhesive or tape to secure
your folds before they are tacked in place.
Run the tacking stitch for your first folded fabric.
With the fabric tacked down, use a pair of scissors to trim
away the excess fabric from inside the block, leaving any
fabric extending past the block for your seam allowance.
Your first folded piece should look something like this once
trimmed.
Repeat steps K through O for the remaining folds.
When the design is complete, remove the block from the
embroidery hoop. Use a rotary cutter and ruler to trim the
block to a 1/2” seam allowance on all sides.
Your Traditional Quilt Block is now finished!
