Flip to the back side of your hoop. Take your lining fabric
and flip it over the folding stitch, giving it a finger crease
and securing with tape as you did on the front.
Place the hoop back into the
machine and run the tacking stitch for
both of the fabrics. The machine will also run the
decorative bean stitch along the top of the zipper trim.
This is the most important step!
Before continuing on, make sure you move the head of the
zipper inside of the design to be about 1/2 - 3/4 of the way
open. If you do not do this, the zipper bag will be stitched
shut, and the zipper on your bag will not be functional.
Once you have moved your zipper, take your last main
fabric and lay it right-side down, covering the entire
design. You can use tape to secure the fabric.
Place the hoop back into your machine and run the
tacking stitch.
